The kindergarten curriculum is segmented into 9 thematic units, each lasting
4 to 5 weeks. During each unit, the children read big books and develop
integrated language arts (ILA), math, science, and social studies objectives
through theme-related subject matter. The children work in
classroom centers to reinforce the targeted
kindergarten skills and participate in activities that correspond to
our current theme.
The kindergarten newsletter
will highlight the objectives and related activities of the current theme.
